So, here is a list of your options when it comes to either buying or modifying a car for alternative fuel. Some of these options will either require a new car, or some can be worked around. Option 3 – Run your diesel car on biodiesel
If you own a smoke chugging diesel vehicle, you might be pleased to know that biodiesel is an immediately accessible and viable way to cut down costs on fuel. Again, biodiesel production harvests much of our socio-environmental assets too, such as tropical forests and plantations where the fuel is sourced.
Option 4 – Flexible fuel cars
Flexible fuel cars are designed to run off standard petrol and any combination of ethanol or alternative biofuel. Cars that drive on a petrol/water combo for example.
Option 5 – Water fuelled cars
Yes that’s right, fuelling cars using good old H20! Its sounds impossible, and gives the impression that your car will drive like a water pistol with wheels (at 20mph top speed). This just isn’t the case.
